The Albany All Breeds Dog Club originally started out as the Albany German Shepherd

branch of the State Club in around 1980, initially as an obedience training club for German Shepherds.

The Albany German Shepherd club ran for 10 years to 1990. Dog numbers eventually fell below the required number to continue and members decided it was time to form another club adding all dog breeds to the club.

The Albany All Breeds Dog Club was recognised by the Western Australian Canine Association on the 29th of January 1992.

The club has grown in numbers and is now an important part of the dog community in Albany offering Foundation Levels, Obedience, Rally and Agility training for all breeds at all levels.
